This product has been indispensable in helping us keep our 92yr old mother safe, as she needs help from her bed to the adjacent bathroom and whenever she gets out of bed. However, this one is the third one we've had in less than three years. This first one had a clear, very audible chime to alert anyone holding or near the pager. But the last two have chimes that are much less audible. Why did the company change the sound of the alert chime when the product was working very well as it existed?

Shopping experience fine. However, the motion detector bed alarm quality has deteriorated over the years. This is the third one purchased. First one worked great, second one had to be returned as it was faulty, third one works but alarm sound is weak. We are hoping this one works as well as the first one purchased about 2 1/2 years ago, as it is essential in caring for our 92yr old mother. If this one doesn't work well we will have to return and search for another product. I think that the manufacturer used about three years ago made a quality product. Hope the company has returned to that manufacturer!
